Hard to believe we are still waiting for the phone call to go to Shand's. In some ways, it is a blessing being able to spend with grandchildren and enjoy holidays. I guess it will come when we least expect it. Visited a Lung Tx support group and it was interesting to hear the different stories...for some people, it has worked out very well and for others they have had to return for 2nd Tx because the first did not take well.It is clear that a Lung TX is exchanging one set of issues for another set of issues, but with more hope.

We have been traveling around Florida keeping withing the 2 hour limit given by Shand's which includes as far north as Tallahassee. Our house is about as far south as we can go. East and west ar ethe 2 shore lines. We have discovered some interesting and fun places, including 2 very nice Bed and Breakfasts.'

We did not go to Daytona Beach for our week on the ocean last year, but decided to do it this year in November and we are looking forward to it.

Had a great visit with Jonathan, Jess Logan and Caelie. Did alot of fun stuff and really enjoyed the time with them. We miss them very much. We continue to be able to see Jeremy, Vesper and Cerys on a fairly regular basis that usually lets Cerys visit with us afterwards for a week. What a joy!  Jason and Wendy were down in May and they are coming down for Thanksgiving.......we are looking forward to Wendy's traditional Thanksgiving Feast. Our family picture would not be complete without mentioning Sister Betty. This yeaar we have the good fortune of having her visit us 3 times.
