Jason & Wendy's Cobra Pages

 1965 Unique Motorcars 427SC

After a long time of saving and looking, in 2001 Jason and Wendy finally put a sunny day sports car in the garage. To everyone's surprise, we did not go with a Corvette and instead own a replica of a 1965 Shelby Cobra 427SC. Our car was manufactured by Unique Motorcars and professionally finished by Bruce Botti in Connecticut. Southern Automotive in McDonough, GA built both the original engine and the upgraded engine. The first engine was a 406 CID version of a 390FE with the additional detailing of a 427FE and creating 430 HP. In October 2004, we upgraded to Southern Automotive's "SuperFE" which is a 452 CID version of a 390FE creating 530 HP.
