Event: Atlanta Cobras Get Together
Date: November 17, 2001
Location: Auto Motif in Marietta, GA
The local group of Atlanta Cobras got together on November 11 at an auto memorabilia store in Marietta. We did the normal car talk, visited the store and then had the mandatory food and drinks.

This was our second get together and we had 6 cobras on hand, so the turn out was pretty good! My cobra didn't make it to the first one so no pictures there. These pictures were actually taken by our "coordinator".
This is Chip (chip's) Unique 427. It has a 390 with a single four and undercar exhaust. His was the only car present with rare undercar exhaust. It's believed to be a former Budweiser display car.
This is David's ERA. It's a blue 289 FIA-bodied car with an aluminum-block 427 Shelby engine!!!
Here's our car! I ended up giving 5 joy rides that day with "kids" ranging from 13 to ???.
This is Mike's 484 stroker-powered Superformance. This one has an amazing engine and sounds distinctly different than any of the other cars. He gave a few joy rides as well.
The is Tim's Everett-Morrison 427SC. It has a 351-C and the paint job, which he completed himself, is amazing. Black is one of those colors you don't even try unless your an expert!
WD and Donna made the trip from McDonough in their 351 Windsor-powered Superformance. It was the cleanest and most detailed car there.
